The "Finally Done with 1L" Thread

Post by lawyerwannabe » Wed May 16, 2012 11:40 am

This is for everyone really done with 1L. People done with finals but not the writing competition, you know what I mean. I are not really done with 1L year yet because the most grueling week of 1L is still to come.

For those done with EVERYTHING, let's celebrate!

I consider the casenote competition week to be. I would rather have taken another final.

Done with everything, including write-on. It feels good... I simultaneously want to sleep and celebrate! I actually cried tears of joy when I dropped my journal competition materials at the post office now.

Because we ain't going to get median pawnage. ;-) Seriously, though, I am anxious to see how everything comes out, but I'm just thinking positively.

Checking in. Not even worried about grades or journals right now, I'm just happy to be done. Crazy how fast 1L year flys by, though.

I still get a little bit of celebration right? My last final was Wednesday and Write On starts Monday so I'm enjoying a brief period of respite.

Barely. I did the same thing thinking the worst was in the past. But then writing competition week happened and I learned how truly wrong I was.

Yeah dude. Keep the champagne corked until you've submitted your note.

Or you could just buy a second bottle. I've celebrated twice. The first one obviously being premature but still equally awesome.

It feels like everyone else in the world is excited that 1L is over except me. I wish I could do 1L all over again because right now, with median/below-median pwnage coming for me, I feel like I've got a noose around my neck which will start tightening slowly...

I was kind of kidding when I posted that. If it makes you feel any better, I thought I fucked all of my classes last semester and it turned out well. Best of luck to you

Am I still a 1L if I'm taking a summer class? I say yes, but apparently this grade wont be included into 1L grades. So, its like half and half.
