The grade wait is becoming too much. It will have been a month Thursday. Bluebook competition for law review starts tomorrow and work has been consuming my time. Cannot wait until 1L is officially over and in the books. Congrats to those who have received grades and good luck to everyone who is working on submissions!

I realize that law exams can take some time to grade but I feel like schools should have a stricter deadline. One of my profs finished grading our 4-hour unlimited word exams in 6 days (granted he is a freak and also teaches at the local med school). What the hell are the other profs doing?!

Chilling, drinking wine, reading pulp fiction, watching sports... Grading exams is their only real work of the entire year. They do what students do, put it off until last second.

I guessed the order of my grades last semester and was completely wrong (my highest guessed grade was my lowest and my lowest guessed grade was my highest). So let's try it again this semester.

CrimLaw < ConLaw < Torts

I did the same thing, so I'll play along.

(Torts = CivPro) < ConLaw

I was right for all but 1 of my exams last semester so might as well try again this semester (for the 3 classes I don't know my grades for):

Con Law > Crim Law > Environmental Law

I actually correctly guessed the order of my grades last semester, but this semester I can't even begin to guess one way or the other. I can only assume this means they're all equally incredible.

If you really want me to take you up on this, I can PM you the address of my summer place. Such a good Samaritan, me.

Don't do it. He'll immediately spend your money on cheap bourbon and dip.

No one I know, at three schools, have received any grades back yet. Is everyone still waiting for their first grade?

Haha. It's more that I don't think I screwed up ConLaw as bad as my other tests, but I like your thinking better.

For my remaining grades, they should go like this:

Contracts>> Con Law> Crim Law.

I was fairly accurate last semester. Here goes:

Immigration > Contracts > Criminal Law = Constitutional Law

Ive gone from thinking just a few of my exams were difficult to thinking there was a possible chance I could fail out if due to some random untraceable error I get all D's. Super unlikely, but it has kept me from starting my write on.
