Ours is more structured than that, but yeah, that's all in the game. Odds are you can construct a good submission without using all those sources.

so if we're kinda shaky on citing or know good and well that our citing skills are not up to par do we just redo our LRW class citing exercises for more practice or is there a book out there that helps with this stuff?

This past year, my LAWR involved a lot of statute interpretation and treaties so I tabbed the odd rules like citing dictionary, treaties, international documents, or the federalist paper.
