How much weight have you gained this month?

Post by LOLyer » Mon May 07, 2012 6:44 pm

I have not weighed myself... but I seriously think I gained 20 lbs this month. I think I actually may have crossed the line into "pudgy" territory. In one month! I was consciously aware of how badly I was eating, but I knew I would quit after finals. I had no idea it would have this much of an effect!

I'm gonna get back in shape this summer, but this cannot be normal. How does anyone find time to exercise during the last month of school?

I've actually been to the gym or run every day but 1 for the past close to a month. Since class has been over my routine is wake up at 9, eat breakfast, hit the gym, come back and shower and eat lunch and I am studying by noon. Study from noon till midnight or past midnight and start all over.

Ha, I did the same thing. Sometime last week though I realized I was the most out of shape I've ever been, so I've been dieting and making it to the gym for the past 4 or 5 days. Very difficult during finals time; all I want to do is eat when I'm studying. Either way, I'm confidnet I can shred most of the damage off in about 2 weeks after finals

yeah, I definitely let myself go a little bit with finals. Hell, this whole semester has been pretty bad in terms of sticking with a workout routine.

But things are about to change around here. At least, they are after I finish ordering this delicious General Tso's chicken. (It's tso good!)

I haven't gained any weight this month, but I did gain 9 pounds in the last year. I HATE YOU LAW SCHOOL. I'm going to be dieting and working out a lot this summer.

I'm the type that loses weight, I lost 11 pounds over the two weeks of finals and the two weeks before. I was starting to get worried, but now that finals are over my weight has stabilized.

have ya'll tried drinking a glass of water every time you stand up to help fill you up, and maybe making sure you always have fruit around so at least you're snacking on fiber and vitamins?

Haven't weighed myself. But I have definitely lost muscle mass and thickened up in the gut. I remember being a teenager and laughing at my dad when he said one day I'd be fat like him. On second thought, maybe that guy knew what he was talking about.

I will never allow myself to become fat. Tons of health problems associated with it; I'd rather not eat ice cream than have a stroke.

Double fudge brownie is worth the risk.

Same. That combined with 5 hours of sleep a night has been bad not just for weight, but overall health.

From the beginning of Lawl School until I got back from Thanksgiving break, I'd lost 16 lbs (very intentionally).

From the end of November to the beginning of January, I put 7 back on.

From January until the beginning of April, I took the 7 back off plus 2 more.

In the past 30 days, I'm back up 5.

Finals is disgustingly awful for my body.

I've gained about 2-3 pounds since finals started, but that still puts me at a net loss of 27 for the semester. I'll take it.
