Officially a rising 2L (provided that I didn't shit the bed on these finals). Definitely not as cathartic as I thought it would be.

Yeah, it's not so funny for me. I'm sure I got Cs in two classes and maybe scraped a B- in one. If it wasn't for the constant post-finals drinking, I'd have given into my black depression and offed myself by this point.

Somewhere in the middle of that blink (where my 1L year is now just a blur) my wonderful 4.0 UG GPA got a big time reality check. I have come to loath the word “curve.” Up next, no clue on how I will view the new 1Ls. . .

So new 2Ls, do you have something to share as you head into part 2 of the 3 part LS adventure?

i feel like a blinked and i am a 3L.
ps: you will do much better 2L, with 2% of the work.

really?? thats insane. i literally worked 24/7 1L and was like top 36% which is good but not in relation to how much i studied...slacked off fall semester of 2L [didnt read occasionally, missed classes, browsed the internet--all the stuff i would NEVER do 1L] but did kick myself into high gear during reading prd, jumped to top 34%.....and spring semester..i literally did not do anything all semester. i thought reading period would kick me into high gear, but i still wasted time and didnt actually study properly. did even better than fall semester. dont know my rank yet, but i seriously hope its top 30% bc i want to apply to the nyu llm program after graduation. I am amazed because it seems like the less hard i work the better i do...and i think thats just a result of the ppl around me not giving a damn either.

you hate the curve 1L, you LOVE the curve 2L.

The 2L curve isn't that much better everywhere. I had a whole bunch of classes that were basically still on the 1L curve.

Yeah, I think here all classes of something like over 30 people are curved to the same degree. I could be wrong, but I am too lazy to look it up right now.

we ave the same exact curve as well, what i meant was that nobody around you gives a damn, so your crappy answer will ride you to median
