They're letting users sync 7 GB in a Dropbox-like fashion. Existing users can get 25 GB of free, sync-able space.

Sweet, they also just released a new iPad app.

Microsoft actually beat Dropbox to he punch and had thi stuff going on with live mesh years ago, but Microsoft is a company where good ideas go to die. Third nothing with it unt il Dropbox kicked the in the balls and forced their hand.

Eta: sry, one handed typing

I have used Mesh throughout law school. I would prefer to start syncing my files with the SkyDrive app now, but I like having the Mesh remote feature. I guess I could leave the Mesh service running but not syncing files.

And totally coincidentally, Google Drive is alive now, too.

I use OneNote synced to my skydrive for EVERYTHING and it works amazingly well. I couldn't be more satisfied with a free service!
