CrimLaw: Common Law v. Model Penal Code Help

Postby AVBucks4239 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 8:36 pm

I was wondering if anybody on here had something with direct comparisons of common law offenses with their MPC equivalents. My professor requires MPC analysis and I'm just lost when it comes to the differences/similarities between the MPC and common law.

If somebody has something please shoot me a PM. I can trade outlines if you'd like.

Thanks in advance.

My outline was not geared towards this. However, the Dressler supplement is very helpful with this. Each crime has its own chapter, with each jurisdiction (MPC, common law, etc.) broken down in sections.

No worries, I just knew I had seen some stuff that was directly applicable when I was in Crim.

It was a nice excuse to use LMGTFY, which is pretty much the second-greatest website in history.
