1L. Take a break for a day, then try to catch up in my classes that I didn't have a midterm in (all but one) and start working on my brief.

More like an opportunity to take a break for a bit, but also catch up and work in a more relaxed manner (i.e., no classes to attend).

Our write on is over spring break. So probably more work than I actually do when school is in session.

You guys are so badass, I bet you're all really good at beer pong.
takes a badass to call out badasses. But no, seriously, killing yourself 24/7 is not the way to do well in law school. It may be for some people, but it's not required for everyone, nor will everyone who does so succeed. (neither necessary nor sufficient condition, see what I did there?)

So what's it matter if people are planning on vegging out? Mass Effect 3 comes out tuesday. I know how i'm spending my spring break

I'll be in NYC visiting friends. I think while they're at work I'll spend some time catching up and trying to understand what the fuck is going on in contracts, but I'm not going to spend tons of time on it.

I'm pretty awesome at beer pong, brother.
I don't doubt it. When I describe law students to non-law school kids, I say "dorm room beer pong champs." They understand right away.

I.e., thought about pretending to be cool by saying one thing (not working over SB), but decided to pretend to be cool by saying something else (not working at all so far this semester).

Douche.

Break is when I start my outlines (which, admittedly, are huge honking gawdawful things that probably don't do me a bit of good). But it's not like I'm working 9 to 5 (I mean, hell, it's not like that here).

Basic day at home:
Wake up at 2
Internetz, video gamezxors 'til 4
Hang out with family when brother and parents get home from school/work respectively
Throw on the Phillies' game at 7, grab a cat, snuggle with it, and outline here and there between innings and pitches
Discard said cat, chill with friends at a dram shop for a few hours
Internetz, video gamezxors from Midnite-ish 'til 2
Sleep for 12 hours

One or two days will probably involve traveling about interviewing with judges or something concerning a summer internship (god willing) but the above will be my default.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
