Me too! I thought that was my best shot at an A, so I'm glad I got it. Still _really_ want my LRW grade.ilovesf wrote:OMFG I got an A in civ pro!!!

Does your school give out A+? How did you feel about your tests in relation to the grades you got?ilovesf wrote: Thanks - you guys are awesome I'm sure everyone else here will be joining in on the revelry soon!
I think they do give out A+s, but it's up to the prof to decide whether to give them out or not.. so I have no idea now if anyone got one or not. I felt pretty good about civ pro after taking it - the essays were totally open ended questions like "list all the possible motions you can make and discuss your strategy" or something, so I had no idea if I hit all of the right things, but I wrote a ton of stuff and felt good about hitting the important topics. I felt good about the MCs for that too. A lot of the questions I felt like I maybe 70% got right, with a 30% chance I was wrong, with one I thought there was a 50/50 chance I had it right. I didn't want to think about it at all afterward though because I still had torts left, so I didn't check to see if I got it right. I don't even actually remember what I put anymore, so I can't check it now. I thought I did pretty well on torts, except I know I messed one part up. I read accidentally "Please do not discuss defenses" when it really said "please do discuss defenses" for both essay question. It said underneath it "please do not discuss damages" and in a hurry I thought it said not both times. With 10-15 minutes left I reread it and realized I got it wrong, I had to write out a defenses analysis super quickly for all parts of the two questions. So I felt super shitty about that part, but I guess in the end it was a pretty small aspect of the exam. Also in torts we had a group project and an individual project during the semester that accounted for 30% of our grade. I got 25/30 on them together, the median was I think a 22.. so that also helped.adonai wrote:Does your school give out A+? I found out today that our grades are not even due until 1/21. Another 3 weeks at the least.crossarmant wrote:I'm really jealous of everyone getting grades back. There hasn't been so much as a whisper about ours yet. The suspense is awful.

i wish my brain worked better for 3-4 hours at a time, and I could just say the right things on the spot instead of having to think so much.NYC Law wrote:Starting to feel like shit, wishing I did more over the semester or at least made my own outlines now that I'm starting to see the results for certain other TLSers...

LIFE IS SO HARD YOU GUYS!
Yeah, I don't either half the time. I do hate my brain though--it works too slow for this law shit.NYC Law wrote: I never have any idea what you're talking about.
Ugh I'm bored out of my mind. Trying to stay up late just so I sleep in and don't have to go through grade-refresh madness all day tomorrow.
