I missed a civpro discussion? Probably the one class where I truly enjoyed the subject matter last semester.


For real, though, I'm missing an exam where the word limit was 1000. Does it seriously take this long to grade? You gave us the rubric ahead of time, and it's ridiculously simple.

Other sections are getting their CivPro grades, we had the exams on the same day, one month ago tomorrow. I'm so tired of this wait. I feel oddly confident about CivPro thanks to Rich Freer, but I'm not holding my breath.... (Probably medianpwned)

Median (B-) in Property. It feels worse because our CivPro professor had our grades in before Xmas and I got an A in there. Now I know how people felt when the Titanic was sinking. And I'm at a TT. I'm going to end up being the person who sits on TLS until my mid-30s and trolls the 0Ls. I took a scholarship to a lower ranked local school, so if anyone starts a thread about that being a good idea I'm going to be on that shit for sure.

got an a+ in contracts, the exam i studied maybe 5 hours for aside from creating an outline. WEIRD but awesome. i will counterbalance this post when i come back to mope about my lrw grade when it gets posted.

I wish I could have chosen my school based on how they do exams . Closed book/note exams are garbage, wish I would have known studying for them throughout the semester was completely different then what I was doing. I know people say open book/note exams are just outline dumps but is that any better than a memorization contest on standard issue spotter exams ?

I'd argue for closed book/note exams because if you understand the material memorizing would be easier and you should get a better grade.

it's preparing you for the utter emptiness you'll feel when you receive your real grades.

Law school is getting conceptual with how they give out grades nowadays.
