Just started outlining. From scratch. First exam is in two weeks. Good idea or bad idea. I think I need to outline for Torts because there is so much BLL.

Not that important for Civ Pro cause it is closed book.

Important for Contracts.

Didn't do much Torts reading after we spent a full week on Learned Hand Formula so this is really biting me in the ass. I AM DESTINED FOR MEDIAN.

I have cobbled together a half-decent outline for one class in a single day, it is definitely feasible if you put the effort forth.

Starting from scratch sucks though. No 2L/3L outlines to give you a solid base?

Nah, completely new, oblivious teacher. It is okay, I just powered through half the course and the readings and have a pretty good outline...FOR HER STUDENTS NEXT YEAR IF SHE IS EVEN TEACHING ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just do a condensed version of an outline, like 5 pages.

If you are resourceful then there is no such thing as "starting from scratch." There are tons of free Torts outlines available online, so just find one from a professor who used the same casebook or something. I thought the ones available on Lexis were pretty useful actually.

I'm very behind as well. I still haven't figured out my strategy. Debating between (a) outlining and have a little time for practice exams, or (b) making skeleton outlines and spending a lot of time on practice exams.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit: Also don't know if I should completely forget about doing Cali lessons
