Unless you really value an editor position, I would say go for it.

Being on LR is the important part. Unless you are going to be EIC, go abroad, especially if you want to do international work.

Do it. It'll be fun, and it will be quite some time before you have any fun again in life if you're headed to a large firm. An no one care about LR position other than EIC.
