In the spirit of the 80's prep music, I'm saving this one for Crim next Friday:

Because, goddammit, if this man can become governor of California, I can get an A picking apart mens rea in a statute.

I don't think I did enough for Con Law in the morning. Any last minute cramming tips?

sigh.

time to mitigate damages and do well on my other finals.

i don't know...i'm on a figurative ledge, so to speak.

just trying to back myself off it and get myself motivated for the next one.

I thought I had failed my contracts test last semester also. Ended up getting an A. No use in worrying about it

TL;DR version: stop worrying about how you did on exams you've already taken. Nothing you can do about it now, and worrying about it just makes things worse, irregardless of how well you actually did.

thanks, and thanks to everyone else for their advice/input.

you guys are so right. i'm over it. time to crush con law. :D

Good luck!

I actually feel like I've accomplished something today. Going to celebrate by sitting at a bar and writing my K outline from memory.

Normally I would not do that...I like to get a solid night's sleep before an exam (if I can). But, I majorly slacked with studying for this class. So I ended up rush outlining late at night :/ Let's hope I can still pull off a decent grade!

Post Obama visit Con Law exam went great. Smooth sailing. The prof gave us about 25 sample questions throughout the semester and allowed us to bring in our answers. I answered all of them ahead of time complete with additional case research, quotes, cites, etc. EVERY essay question (4) was one of the sample questions. I barely had time to retype my answers. SOOOO glad I took the time to really prepare answers ahead of the test. Looking back I see the method to his madness. I know every concept we covered cold from doing all those questions (plus stuff we didn't even learn -- god help me, I was actually interested in finding out more -- shudder).

Now, on to closed book property exam prep. Not excited about it, but NOTHING could possibly be as intense as Con Law:-)

And tonight -- cocktail party at my husband's golf course. Now that, I AM looking forward to.

I think this is the one. If my ceiling weren't so low, this would be happening before civ pro.

It's almost worth the five graded classes each semester. ;-)

Don't be. My elective is definitely going to be competing with LRW for being my shittiest grade.

Well, yeah, me too, but it's still more fun than, say, LRW.
