Going to give it about 45 minutes before I run to the nearest bar to get a drink before last call so I can sleep easy.

Like a bawse. Just starting to roll now. I feel a LOT better about ConLaw than Property or CivPro. Still, a 2.5 hour test with one question makes it hard to differentiate yourself

How late did you stay up in the library last night? 2.5 hours with 1 question is totally brutal. Does he have model answers online?

I need to stop looking in here because it's more depressing then motivating. I'm eating pizza watching a movie after not doing 1 second of school work yesterday. I'm going to head to the library in a bit, hopefully.

Your library closes? I mean, ours is only staffed certain hours but we have 24 hour access - I thought that was the norm?

Nope
I think it has a lot to do with location. My UG was a big campus with its own police station and multiple libraries so there were 24 hr ones. My LS is in the middle of the city and the library closes from 1-8am.

Yeah our hours are Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Sat: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Sun: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM. I think part of the issue is that we're a stand alone law school so this library is just for us and we don't have as many resources. It doesn't really bother me though because I sure as hell don't want to be here earlier than 8 on a weekday and later than 10pm on a weekend.

At my UG the library was closed from like 2 am - 6 am and we had a separate study place that was open 24 hours a day. We were in the middle of Baltimore lol so I think they didn't want to use so much security to keep it open in the middle of the night when almost no one would be there. I think they kept it open 24 hours a day during finals though.

Re: 1L Exam Prep and Motivation Thread
If I can finish my Crim and Con Law I outlines this afternoon I'll be in good shape to start drilling for Property (my first exam).
Thanks to whoever recommended the Short and Happy Guide to Property. Mine arrived this morning and I already think it'll help.

Yeah, our library is just for the law school too. Actually if there are UGs in it, they get asked to leave haha.
Interesting...I didn't realize this wasn't the standard! I guess that's something I can tell people as a selling point now (or not?), lol.

I guess it's a selling point. I was thinking of going to Cardozo and when I took a tour of the school they said the library is closed on Saturdays and closes at like 5pm on Friday. Admitted students legit started freaking out about not being able to go to the library.

After heavy drinking last night, I'm finding it hard to bring myself to sit down and do hard work today. GAH! First exam in 11 days

Oh Chemerinsky, your jokes are so corny but your knowledge of Con Law is so VAST.
Def recommend the Barbri Con Law lecture for those struggling with Con Law right now

For everyone doing Property CALI lessons, which ones do you suggest? There are 91 of them and each are about a half hour long. It's just not feasible to run through all of them.
