Also, this.

Not to mention our professor isn't very clear and has a really weird course organization. We did consideration first, then damages, and are just now getting to offer and acceptance. It's almost April and... I'm not entirely sure what a contract is. I think I knew more about contract law prior to this semester.

Thanks, bro. It was my reaction to my Fall grades. Hopefully your avatar will reflect my Spring experience.

I kept thinking I'd find motivation to care about law school at some point. Has not happened yet.

Well, our appellate brief is done (finally!). Now I can actually start finals prepping. Contracts is what I'm most worried about. I have no idea what's happening in that class and need to do some serious catch-up. Byeeee social life!

Woke up at 9 to read Property for a few hours. Ended up reading Mad Men recaps instead.

we did this too, and we survived. It really came together the last few weeks. I'd recommend Chirelstein's Contracts. It's short. Just sit down and read it through, and it will help you put all the trees together into a forest.

i liked it. some really cool and notable scenes; especially the last one before the credits. also, the pete/roger rivalry is my favorite dynamic on the show right now.

ConLaw is beastly, you guys...don't even know where to start this outline. CivPro seems cute in comparison.

Conlaw is nothing.

Contracts is a bitch. Contracts is sucking me off. Learning case law along with the UCC sucks. The cases and concepts are fairly simple, but those UCC provisions are just so terribly written I dont know what the hell they say.

Oh yea. Im terrified of Contracts because of that. I have to memorize the UCC, the common law, and the CISG. Not to mention that apparently my professor has a multiple choice question section where he's been known to include quotes from cases that we have to match up to whatever Judge/Justice said it. :(

Brief writing marathon. The re-write continues. I decided that my brief didn't have the right "voice" so I've undertaken a re-write. I've been working for five hours and to meet my goal of finishing the first segment, I'm likely going to be up very late this morning. I think a couple of wild nights is worth it though in the end (or so I'm telling myself) because if I can be done by this weekend, the real studying can commence and I can forget about this paper. Erg....so much writing. So much commerce.

Our first week of finals is Con Law (30 mins closed-book case ID + 90 min issue spotter) on monday followed by a comprehensive, closed-book Crim exam on Thursday. No amount of stretching can prepare my anus for this adventure.
