I shuck oysters without a towel. And ace contracts exams in my spare time. Additionally... My pasta is always al dente.

hypothetical that.

I was in that section. I wrote 2,500 words, and then didn't have time to write more because our prof has the most brutal multiple choice section ever invented. Pretty sure I failed it.

Edit: we did have a word limit, btw. Being the ass that I am, I didn't even come close. FML.

I could be completely wrong, but I believe take home exams are not as much about word count, but more like LRW. They tend to have word limits and you struggle to stay within the limits.

Ah, my bad. That's what I get for assuming. I figured all of our exams were at least similar I wish we had multiple choice... Or a take home...

You do not wish you had multiple choice. DO NOT.

Multiple choice are basically gimmes. If you know the law and its nuances, then they're cake. 95% probably do so they're basically free points. Of course this doesn't matter when the multiple choice you are talking about is on future interests.

oh so very wrong.

If that were true you wouldn't hear about median scores of 23/50 on multiple choice exams

I guess it differs amongst professors, but I found most mc questions really reward those who know the law cold. Or maybe I overestimated mc sections and will be medianpwned.

I don't think it's about knowing the BLL cold (because I had that shit down), but more about deciphering the answer choices. My property professor basically does not know how to write answer choices for mc questions - he should hire an LSAT writer for that. I owned the LSAT because it's VERY, VERY precise language. You know exactly what the writer means.

Today I basically read each mc question, diagrammed it, read through the answer choices, read them again, went, "?????" and chose the best one.

Terrified for my torts exam tomorrow. Felt fairly confident all semester and now I look at these massive issue-spotters he gave as practice and my heart turns to ice. I couldn't issue-spot my way out of a paper bag. :(

Nobody else can either - you're going to be fine. Have a drink, watch TV, turn in early, and don't lay in bed anxiously thinking of rules, fact patterns, or ANYTHING. Just turn over and sleep.

You started doing practice exams the day before the exam?

Lol no, I just feel pretty useless at it and he doesn't give model answers. Seems like whenever I talk to anyone else about them they're coming out with all these weird things that I didn't see.

My roommate had a 3 day long exam... I feel like that is a million times more nerve wracking than any 3 hour long closed book exam. Not only does it allow for a person who knows the material to answer properly, it allows a complete imbecile to learn the material and answer properly in the allotted time... fucking retarded.

Crazy, I know. Fortunately, I'm ready to go with my supply of 5-hour energy, Red Bull, and crystal meth.

Our word limit was less than that on this latest exam. I wrote the exact amount of the word limit. I wrote 3x that amount in contracts.

Also, so glad did not have a word limit for LRW. That would have been awful with our prompt.
