yeah. i've got an exam tomorrow instead i'm on here arguing about fucking contingent remainders despite the fact that my property final was fucking 8 days ago.

Second exam today. Feel like meh about it. Hoping I didn't just do median, but that is what it feels like right now. We'll see. It was a ton of multiple choice. Hate that.

Ugh, think I bombed my property final today. I don't think I touched on enough issues, maybe not even half. There was simply no time even though I was typing at 80+ WPM nonstop. Had to cut short a lot of my answers and not even finish them cause I had to move on.

Can any upperclassmen give any reassuring stories for my motivation? Anyone think they did really bad, but actually ended up doing really well?

I think the thing that CivPro has taught me the most is [1] Federalism is the dumbest form of government organization, and [2] State borders in the U.S. are absolutely asinine and need to be redrawn taking in consideration cultures and population centers.

If you search the forum, you will find tons of stories. How do I know? Did it for crim law. Cutting answers sucks. I had to do it too, though mine was because we have a strict word limit 4/5 exams I cut my answers and hit the word limit exactly on the number. Was I speaking broken English in a couple paragraphs? Yes. Is it worth it to keep an extra issue in? Certainly hope so.

So, I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I have an exam on monday and I don't know what to do to study anymore at this point. I don't want to slack, but I know my outline, I'm out of practice exams, and I don't know what to do for the next two days. Ideas?

More specifically, does anyone else want to drop out and become a scuba instructor in Maui? Or is that just me?

It usually is true that people who think they did bad actually did well, depending on why you think you did bad. If you think you did bad because you clearly made erroneous statements than that's one thing, but if you knew the material enough to understand just how complex and difficult it was, than that's actually an indicator that you understood it better than everyone else. These exams seem easy to people who graze over crucial issues that have tension with one another. I thought I failed my first series of finals and ended up getting a 3.87 my first semester. The same exact thing happened last semester. Stop thinking about it and finish strong. That will make the difference.

I've decided if I do poorly, I'm going to become a cop. Or some kind of lackluster gold digger. Maybe a teacher? Likely a cop. Good pension, people must respect your authori-tay, and I think I'd be good in the uniform. The whole career plan is somewhat ironic given that the class I believe is going to sink me is crim but its a funny world we live in.

Question: do teachers ever throw out exam questions? I ask because my whole section is freaking out over a question where there was (in my opinion) a kind of obvious typo that was meant to go one way but said something else. About three quarters of the class (or my sample size...meaning, folks I overheard talking about it and clowns talking it up on the facebook group....GOD) picked up on the typo, stated they caught the typo and went with it. One or two are digging their heels in and are saying well "it said x". Then the whole debate came up. Wondering if anyone has heard of this? Our prof warned us that he is highly prone to typos and switching party names around. You'd think he'd proof read, as its kind of the whole grade but....whatever. I would think a prof would be too proud to throw out but I forget sometimes they are humans too. Anyone hear of this going on?

I don't even know what I could possibly do if I do poorly. I was a social worker before and I can't afford to go back to that with my $20K debt fo rliving expenses I've racked up even though I have full tuition.

Just to clarify: Goodyear changed the standard for general jurisdiction over a corporate defendant from that they had to have "continuous and systematic" contacts to that they must "essentially be at home", right? I believe the professor said that, it's tricky because the talk of "essentially at home" still left it ambiguous and we could possibly argue what is meant by 'essentially'.

All exams done as of noon! Boom! Now its time to forget everything...

That is not how my prof. explained it. He said it essentially just reiterated and solidified CSS contacts in stone as the gold standard for General Jdx. But follow your prof's interpretation.

Does anybody here think it is worthwhile redoing practice exams that you've done for a prof., but semi-forgot due to time? Running out of materials here.
