You don't have living expenses in Canada?

Full ride to law school and some small government loans for my living expenses.
I will end up with less than $80k total in law school debt from both my private undergrad and law school.
However, that will depend on my grades during my 1L year, as if I can knock things out of the park here, I will probably transfer somewhere else after 1L year, where I'm sure I will pay big bucks and have to take out plenty more student loans.

In terms of paying it back?
I'll be relying on my salary when I get out of law school, which means I'll probably be eating spaghetti-os and living in a dinky apartment/with my parents for the first few years I'm working, as I'm not going to let those loans hang over my head for the rest of my life.

100% loans, luckily my wife has a good job and can take care of living expenses.

Loans, then LRAP to pay them back.

Every spare moment I have, I study law. If I'm not studying, I'm working, making money. Those are the only two lives I lead. But I'm paying my tuition as I go. I may end up having to get a loan for a portion of my last year, the way it's going. But I expect to graduate from law school next year with very low debt. Unfortunately, I don't get any help from my parents.

How nice for you. Too bad all Canadian law schools are TTTs.

I can't imagine a post being more incorrect and ignorant.

By getting a full-ride at a T20--in a state I hate but happened to have lived for years--instead of going to the city where I want to practice to attend the CCN I always dreamed of attending during college. :/

Don't be that way, brother. There's got to be some other explanation for why US law schools are always styling on Canadian ones.

My tuition is about 50k for the entire 3 years in a state school. I still work part-time and have money saved since I worked throughout undergrad and saved some money then. I went to a state school with a scholly + grants. I took out 8k for 1L because it was subsidized federal loan and I heard they wont offer these next year because of the federal budget cuts. However I think I will be able to graduate without debt (pay the 8k back upon graduation if possible).

Its not easy, I work 20 hours a week and only go out for maybe 1 movie a week or dinner with my wife. I just study and work. I feel like Im doing well though, but I know Im like the only person in my class that works so I have to make more effort to compete.

I go to a 3rd tier school, I hate to say it but it wasn't worth going in debt over. I really like what Im doing, but I couldn't imagine coming out of my school in this economy with 75k+ in debt (COL + Tuition + Tuition). getting 50k a year salary with that debt is insane, however 50k without it is reasonable.
