I've been better this semester too. Last semester there were multiple classes that I never even read for. In fact... holy shit... I don't think I did any reading ever for 4/5 classes.

I only have class two days a week. Makes it hard to justify skipping classes.

I even try and do the reading. Not really successful so far in Con Law II.

I've gone out practically every night since the semester started, but I'm still doing the reading and going to class and I still feel like I have a lot of free time. Really, that's the main reason I'm still doing it--not really sure what I would have to do if I wasn't.

I've skipped about 5 classes this semester. What makes it worse is ALL of my classes are once a week classes.

That's what they have pass/fail for :).

Also, I have never been happier to see a B+ in my entire life. My god was that class awful.

Hah! Went to review my exam and he miscounted...changing me to a B+.

A single missed rule was the difference. And a minor grammatical mistake (it vs they) on one question was the difference to A- despite it being unconfirmed. What a jackass.

How come you always manage to get your grades changed? And brag about it? Second time you've said this to me and I can't imagine it is common in law school.

You have me confused with someone else. This is the only grade I've ever had changed and I wasn't bragging... Just sharing my elation, how much of an idiot he is, and how tight his self-imposed grading was. Hell, this is only the second time I've ever even met with a professor.

Plus, it was his fault. He miscounted check marks...not like I whined until he regraded. Chill out, it's not affecting your grade.

Taking Con Law II. Took a First Amendment class in the Fall. Just bothered to look at the syllabus for Con Law and saw that at least 50% of the class is about the First Amendment. And another 20% on Due Process, which I covered in Admin Law in the Fall.

WIN.

My grades came back. I slipped significantly. I have resolved to work harder this semester. And yet here I am, book uncracked.

I have hit a rut. Nothing that happens the next three semesters makes one fucking difference. I am likely not competitive for a clerkship, yet gradeswise I am safe for my job. So yea, 2L no motvation... because there isn't a single fucking reason for motivation. I don't give a shit. I think I might just study abroad this fall or something.
