Where are your tuition dollars going?

Did you hear/read this story that was published on ATL earlier today?

Apparently, the dean of the University of Baltimore Law School was asked to resign because he dared to complain that the University of Baltimore "pockets" almost half of the tuition paid by law students. The numbers are mind-blowing:
...For the most recent academic year (AY 10-11), our tuition increase generated $1,455,650 in additional revenue. Of that amount, the School of Law budget increased by only $80,774...

...As of academic year 2010-11, the University retained approximately 45% of the revenue generated by law tuition, fees and state subsidy....

In other words, the University of Baltimore is redistributing 95% of recent tuition increases and pocketing about half of the overall tuition dollars collected its law school.

How is your law school using your tuition dollars?
