Challenging Class or "Easier" Class?

I'm thinking of taking Trial Advocacy this summer, but I've never been a good public speaker. While every student who has taken it raves about the class, I'm afraid I may freeze up and get a bad grade. I'm wondering if you all can provide some feedback. Would you take a class w/ reg. lecture/exam or go for the challenge and take Trial Advocacy? Did any of you take that class worrying b/c you're a bad public speaker?

Did your risk aversion lead to not having a summer job in the first place?

If you want to do trial work and have a problem with public speaking then you ABSOLUTELY MUST take this class. This is your chance to practice and hone your skills while the only consequence is the relatively insignificant risk of a bad grade.

But, it sounds like maybe trial work isn't really the thing for you. If that's the case then this class would be a waste of time. So, decide what you want to do with your life and the answer will be clear.

Don't part-time students have to take summer classes?

Nope. But hey, it gets us out earlier (in my case 3.5 years, wahoo!) if you can take at least 4 credits per summer to knock off that final semester.
