Schools that don't have grade on Law Review
How uncommon is it to have 100% of LR positions determined by mandatory writing competitions that also take into account GPA and legal writing grades? Does this only happen at certain TTTypes of schools?

On the contrary, I believe this should become a new fad on TLS. Or TTTLS.forza wrote:WriTTTing TTT inTTTo every parTTT of your posTTT is sTTTupid.

Harvard has exactly what you are describing. Because grades don't really matter here.

The Law Review at my school (T1 regional) determines membership based solely on the write-on, although the top 10% get a slight advantage (lowest write-on score is dropped when calculating the average score).
