ur the highest grade in the class; the best exam, so if X amount of ppl got an A, urs is the highest A. They are published in cali.org. A lot of schools have book awards. All you get is a diploma, but you get to put it in ur resume.

All grades from 2nd semester in. Feeling kind of blah. Didn't do bad, but didn't do fantastic either. Doing dual internships probably had somewhat of a negative impact on my grades. What's better though: perfect grades or killer work experience + decent/good grades?

i guess it depends. I go to a tier 3... so i think work experience is more important. I think that's what really helps u get a job. If I were at Harvard or one of those i wouldn't have to worry so much about building my resume because graduating from Harvard pretty much guarantees u a job.

I think work experience, especially in the legal field, really is invaluable simply because it takes you outside of the mind-games of law school. I really enjoy working at the job I am at right now (in-house IP department for defense firm) because the job is giving me some killer opportunities and giving me a whole new perspective on the practice of law that I couldn't even dream of in lawl school.

Oddly enough, my highest grade this past semester was not in IP even though that's what my current job is all about!

Yeah... in my personal opinion, work experience is far more important. during the school year i work three days and go to class two days. During the summer, i work about 40-50 hours/week and take one summer class. I love my job, and ever since I started working my grades have gone up. Since I started working over a year ago, I have not gotten anything below an A-. I think working helps you develop skills which are useful in law school.

Really hoping to get an offer there, but we'll see. I'm going to start applying to other places toward the end of the summer.

1.4 grade point spread between my highest grade and lowest grade. Holy crap. The randomness theory of prezident's grades continues to assert itself.
