I still haven't logged onto banner yet to check grades. Prob won't. Evar. Unless/until my firm asks for them. Just typing my creds into the banner page makes my anxiety level spike. Fck it.

Really? Thats fast. I guess you have been done for awhile though.

I am completely done. Took my last final on Wednesday, and just turned in my memo for the writing comp. Bring on the Summer!

Is there any way to generalize about the grade distribution in seminar classes that because of their size don't have mandated curves?

Depends on the school but no, not usually. Try asking ppl you know who took the class before you what they got, maybe.

Happy about my grades!

Hoping to make top 5% but not quite sure whether that will happen!

I only had one final on May 3rd. I then took pre-trial practice (all writing; no final) and a 6-credit clinic. That plus my law review credits=14 credits for the semester. I got my grades on Wednesday of last week.

Summary of spring semester 2L: WHOOPS. My GPA has dropped by .5 after two grades.

In retrospect, I should have taken some fluff classes. Working, plus doing LR, plus having a full class schedule was a bad idea. At least next semester should be easier, in theory.

Err... .05 that is. I think I'd be making one of those anonymous "Drop out/killself?" polls if I dropped by .5 in two grades.

I'm really jealous of that turn-around. But congrats!

Surprisingly, the best semester so far (on its own, something like top 10 percent). In other news, absolutely getting slammed at my summer job. < Le sigh>

Anyone have an idea when HLS grades will be posted? I remember they were released at the beginning of the second week of June last year (for 1Ls). Given that upper class finals ended a week before 1L exams, does that mean we get the grades earlier?

You know? For me it has been the complete opposite. I actually think that working has helped me do better in school.

I am also in Law review, worked 3 days/week and only went to school twice a week. I have been doing this since the end of 1L (for an entire year now) and haven't gotten anything below an A- during the time I have been working. I dunno... I think being sooo busy helped me focus more.

Best semester of law school grade-wise by far, despite doing a considerably poorer job of learning the material during the semester and putting less time in during crunch time. I'm convinced this law school thing is a farce.

Okay, so my last grade was my worst grade...BLAH. I should have known, ugh.

In other news, we are 3Ls!!! Man, law school has flown by.

THANKS! I'm just glad I redeemed myself. Didn't make top 10 percent last year because of property and crim. law.

So jealous of my co-worker.... his school does grades all at once, like taking off a band aid. My school does grades one by one over the course of five weeks. Like Chinese water torture.

booked bankruptcy. So happy! I've never been so shocked to book a class. I did not even expect an A, much less to book it.
