Finally got the rest of my grades today. My Crim Pro grade exceeded my wildest dreams! I felt worse walking out of that final than I ever had before so I was sure I did horribly, but no. Such a huge relief and makes it much easier to focus on this semester.
Hope the rest of you get your grades soon! Waiting is the worst.

Oh no wait I did get a pass for my TA position(can you fail that? I guess in theory)
Would like an actual grade though please.

Uh, so my school conspicuously left off of this year's academic calendar when grades are to be released though it has been on there every other year. Hmmmmm.....

PSA #2: about-to-be-unemployed lawyers (you know, with real experience) are the only ones getting clerkships; oh, them and people at law schools that don't have gradesmistergoft wrote:Except for judges...doyleoil wrote:PSA - nobody gives a shit about 2L grades (least of all NU'ers)rayiner wrote:NU grade vigil today.

there are, of course, any number of rebuttals to this misguided postmistergoft wrote: I know 10+ people with clerkships lined up at MY school.

but, seeing how you're a law student, i'm sure you can think some up yourself

I invalidated an absolute statement with actual data, I don't think that subjects my comment to rebuttal.doyleoil wrote:there are, of course, any number of rebuttals to this misguided postmistergoft wrote: I know 10+ people with clerkships lined up at MY school.

Obviously the chances of getting a clerkship (exponentially more so with a federal COA clerkship) are infinitesimal, even from elite schools; however, it is not outside the realm of possibility to if you are at or near the top of your class...

It wasn't near as brutal as I thought it'd be, but I was disappointed with one of my classes.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
