If you need a way to do it quickly and extremely painfully, just ask a group of median students that question

I mostly did as expected (middling to mediocre). There was one class where I figured I either did really well or really poorly. Of course it was the latter.
At least I passed?

I thought you loved 'Nova? Why the transfer apps (especially at where you're at in the class)? If you don't want to answer here, shoot a PM.

Last grade in. I did alright but had a huge drop off from the fall almost .7 lower but I am fortunate to still be in a good spot. Not happy with my relative performance but things will work out.

Seriously. A .7 drop for me, or even like a .3 drop, and I would have considered dropping out.

I'm aboard the same failboat, hombre. Don't sweat it too much - just be thankful for the first semester safety margin, right?

Edit: The post below made me also realize that I really botched this post the first time as well... oops.

You have to mean .07, right? No way you could have done "alright" this semester, still be in a "good spot," AND experienced a .7 drop, no matter how well you did first semester.

It's possible because of the way grades are distributed along the 0.0-4.0 spectrum.

Ah, that's true. Didn't think there were schools that even did that. You can not even show up to the final exam and still get a 1.5 at my school.

BTW, when people talk about their drops, do they mean from fall semester to 1L cumulatively? Or from fall to spring?
