Best way to learn the differences between COL and MPC?

The best thing I've found online was this document:

i remember finding a decent mpc chart online. maybe it was from boalt.org? i ended up making my own, which took me about 3 hours... by the time i was done i pretty much memorized it. if i did it again, i'd just memorize it from a sheet instead of dealing with msft word bullshit.

I still dont get docstoc. Sometimes they let me download free and sometimes they keep taking me to the page where it asks to register.
