ha, iirc this was your jam last semester, too, right? i had it on repeat a few days, won't lie. a fairly reasonable interpretation of the music video is pretty grim when i'm trying for big law, though.Borhas wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n94URvpQOAcdailygrind wrote:anyone got a list of youtube motivational clips? i'm making a folder for the rough times. so far my favorites are:

Sports-related clips are ANTI-motivational for me. Really, a game chasing a ball around a field is that important to you? The only exception would, maybe, be Remember the Titans because the importance is not on winning a game, but overcoming racial tensions and segregation.

Yeah, I guess making enough money to drag my extended family out of poverty wouldn't be very motivational to me, either.mythosopher wrote:Sports-related clips are ANTI-motivational for me. So, how has everyone's oral argument gone? Mines on Thursday. I'm putting more effort in this than I should, only because the judge is not someone I know and I don't want to look like an @$$ in front of her.

84$ down the drain in new supplements, mainly for contracts because my teacher is horrendous. I found Chirelstein to ramble too much and spoke too generally.

I highly doubt any of those texts will be able to clearly illustrate all the methods of "Getting it in" sadly.

EDIT: anyone have the chemerinsky casebook and know of some good outlines out there that pretty much match up with what chemerinsky says? ive been reading the hornbook instead of the casebook and thats been fine for day to day understanding, but i feel like i need something a little more organized for outlining.

Learn to love it. The questions are a breeze once you figure out the process. I think these saved my tail on Property last semester.BarbellDreams wrote:We just started RAP today in property.../self.

So I finally took time out today to go to the grocery store (about 15 minutes out of the way). As soon as I walk in, power goes off. Great. No carrots this week.

It really only takes about an hour to really get down, then another to practice until you can solve even harder variations.fathergoose wrote:Learn to love it. My professor said he's not going to be really tough with it; this dismays me because it's actually a fun rule.

I go to a "regional" school. We study law from pretty much every jurisdiction as well. I'm not looking forward to starting to outline for property.dailygrind wrote:studying for property is one of the times i really wish i went to a regional school (crim is another). so many jdx with so many different rules...that i mostly don't care about...
