Also, if someone could help me out on a conlaw Q

United Stats v. Curtiss-Wright upheld congressional delegation of power to the president to restrict the sale of arms if it would contribute to peace in Bolivia. I'm a little confused as to whether the opinion upholds the delegation or if the delegation is wholly unnecessary because the President is supreme. I'm 99% sure it stands for the delegation being unnecessary, but I want to check.

Edit: derp "a power which does not require as a basis for its exercise an act of Congress."

lol way to fail to be comprehensive Chemerinsky.

Original goal: Finish paper, next weekend outline. New goal: start outlining this week. Actual probability of that happening? Who knows.

FML. Lost my bluebook and folder with all my cases and notes for my brief. I know for sure it's not in my tiny apartment, nor in my backpack or locker :'( Brief due Monday.

This happened to someone in my class and she got an extension from the prof for like 2 weeks. Idk what your prof is like but you can certainly try.

I tried retracing my steps, but everything's a big blur in the past week. Wasted half a day driving back and forth to school trying to find it. This is the first time in my life I have absolutely no clue what happened :?

Is there somewhere else it all could be that you haven't checked?

Sucks. :?

I'd ask for the extension, as someone else suggested. Couldn't hurt and it may be the most helpful thing you could do at this point.

I checked the library front desk to see if anyone turned anything in, nothing. The school's front office only opens when the brief is due, so can't check there until it's too late.

Thanks for the support guys, the upside is that a friend lent me his bluebook, I've reprinted all the cases I used, and I'm working off my outline draft.

I expected something like this to happen when applying to law school, and made a mental note not to freak out if it happened. Otherwise I'd be having a major panic attack.

/going offline to work on the brief.

FOUND IT!!!! My gosh I am so relieved!

So I sadly walked into the school cafeteria to get my sandwich out of the refrigerator, and by chance I look to the corner and see a chair with 3 of my folders resting on the chair (the most random place ever!).

That is not where I left it, and I don't know how long it's been there, but I'll take it!

Once again, thank you for living this law school drama with me.

So I just realized that my first final is in less than a month. I think 3 weeks. This week I'm struggling just to finish my reading and write a paper. Getting all my outlining done in time is gonna be a bitch.

5 weeks here. I felt overwhelmed last week but I'm on top of everything now. Conlaw outline will be 100% caught up with by tomorrow. Up to date in Contracts. Elective paper is no sweat. Next week is all property.

By this time next week I should have all my outlines up to date. LETS DO IT

First exam is the end of April. Totally new study strategy including hornbooks, practice tests, and a whole lot of Monster Energy Drinks. It's dark, and I'm wearing sunglasses.

Hit it.
