Completely untrue from what I've seen at Cornell. Professors want you to get to the point and most of them put word limits. Here anyways...Helmholtz wrote: Agreed. I think most of the A papers tend to fall in the 6000-7000 word zone.

In a four hour exam!?

I just took my torts final. I think I ended up around 4,000. I seriously don't even know what I would have written with 7,000 words without just doing a UG-style "LOLZ PROF HERES ALL THE SHIT I KNOW ABOUT TORTZ!" brain dump. I probably could have written 7k if I wanted to, it just would've been 6.5k of bullshit.

Brought my conlaw book to the library to study torts. Probably as much use out of that as out of a torts case book by now anyways.

Shit I only wrote 1050 words on my 3.5 hour exam. I was really concise though, so good chance it's in the A range.

Screw you, torts. I hate you.
And wrote 4785 in 3 hours. Don't know what that means.

My 3 hour civ pro final exam was on one topic only: opportunity to be heard.
Nothing on Erie, nothing on personal jurisdiction, nothing on anything that should be important.
3 hour exam on opportunity to be heard.
All the hours spent on understanding personal jurisdiction and Erie were wasted.
Fuck. My. Life.

Vomiting repeatedly and uncontrollably before stressful times. I lost six pounds in three days before the lsatD. H2Oman wrote:SmittenMitten wrote:And the stress vomiting has begun

3800 word crim law final. but I think I went past the word limit on all my sections. gunna be a really tight curve cause the material was really easy. . . which is what really scares me.

when i walked out of the exam i felt pretty confident. i just opened up the copy of the exam i wrote, and upon reread it's not really that good. shit. although for how much we all wrote in 3 hours, i can't really expect anyone's to be good. so maybe i'm still in the running.
