I've personally committed myself to not discussing grades regardless whether I do terrifically or horrifically. Just doesn't seem kosher.

tbf, it's the mentality of my section. We are all pretty chill besides a few. I think most people are wound up too tight.

There's probably a couple guys I would talk it over with, and obviously people on here will know if I post them on here.
But other than that, grades, like scholarships, are private.

Just find a good outline for your course (same professor) or buy a commercial one and you'll be fine. Also start taking notes

Re: Haven't taken notes...halp!
While I used my notes heavily at times, I think they were helpful more out of convenience and streamlining my studying than anything else. Outside of professor's interests, basic structure and types of questions he/she asks, I feel like I could have done the same with or without my notes. In fact, I lost the first 1/3 of my notes from the semester. I didn't really miss them. Old student outlines from your section will make up for a lot of lack of notes. A lot. If not all.

OP, I would not worry too much about it. I tend to think class notes are over emphasized. I took very few notes first semester 1L and took none second semester and was top 2% at a top 40 school. I did however, pay attention in class. Anyway, it does not (based on rather limited data, i.e. the one test) seem to be hurting you much.

Exactly right. It's 100% gauche. If you play golf, it's analogous to stepping on someones line. Only two people from my section have told me their grades. Not only are they the douche-bags of the section, but also the grades were nothing to brag about - middle of the pack. Like the other guys said, one of them did "update" his results on facebook.zeth006 wrote:I've personally committed myself to not discussing grades regardless whether I do terrifically or horrifically. outlinedepot.com outlines are keyed to every school/professor. You will have to pay for them, but at this point, especially with midterms coming, its probably a wise investment.

The hell it is. Someone at your school has better outlines to share. Just find them.
