Taking the MPRE without PR classes

Post by truevines » Wed Sep 22, 2010 8:11 pm

Hi,

I hope I do not produce yet another redundant thread (I tried the forum search and the advanced forum search is disabled).

I am a 2L and would like to sit for the MPRE in November. But, I haven't taken any professional responsibility course.

Is the PR course a prerequisite for the MPRE?

I am in CA, if that helps.

Thank you for your reply.

Nope- not at all. I had taken PR before I took the MPRE- but over a year before so I had pretty much forgotten most of it. You might just have to study for 8 hours instead of 4.

For what it's worth, I know several people who easily passed the MPRE before taking the PR class.

I didn't take any PR class and I got a 150 on it.
