Bar application and discrepancy for resume

Post by justwondering_1980 » Fri Sep 17, 2010 2:57 pm

Hi all

I am an 1L

A commision from the Bar Association came to my school a few days ago and talked about the fact that the law school application needs to match the bar application perfectly.

They also mentioned that they will get access to all our records, including all records and they will see all our employment.

I have two jobs that I only held for one month, which I didn't mention on my resume for my law school application. If they pull the tax records, these jobs will show as I was on payroll for a month.

Do you guys think I should ammend that on my law school application? Do they really look that into detail for all employment held?

Thanks

haha nooo.... they're talking about you leaving stuff out like a misdemeanor or an academic warning when you were asked to put it in. They won't care if you leave out a part time job you did for a month.
