Does one exist, and if so, is it worthwhile?

Two books in case anyone stumbles across this in the future.

Bix: Jurisdprudence (http://www.amazon.com/Jurisprudence-The ... udence+bix)

And the In A Nutshell Book. (But it has been updated in 20 years, but good for old stuff like HLA Hart, Aquinas, etc.)

I would wait until you get a syllabus to see what the professor will focus on before you buy anything, because unlike Torts or something, classes vary widely on subject matter.
