For one of my classes we aren't allowed to bring laptops. Do you guys recommend brining a legal pad and the casebook? I think I'll be printing out my briefs the night before. Thoughts?

TY as always

Doesn't sound too unreasonable. What else did you have in mind?

Little known fact - before the existence of TLS, many law students sat in classes with no sort of writing utensils, paper, or casebooks in front of them, lamenting the fact there was no higher authority to instruct them on what materials would be necessary for getting through a class.

Tough, tough times, indeed.

Lulz.

All my notes are taken on my notebook. I might OCCASIONALLY pencil nonsense into the cases in my casebook or Civ Pro rulebook, but that's it.

RC error on my part.

Yes OP, you seem to have everything you need.

Which reminds me. I should probably get a a hi-lighter for my Civ Pro rulebook.

What is this, 1999? Bring your laptop unless you are one of those people who demands to synthesize everything by writing it out. Bring the casebook, a couple highlighters, and of course a 3 piece suit with a monocle. I hear they expel you if you forget your vest.

Just wait till it's 3 cases a class for 6 classes... that cost adds up ;)
