basic amazon.com question

Post by 1Levening2013 » Tue Aug 17, 2010 1:56 pm

please excuse my lack of knowledge, but i have always just gone to the bookstore and overpaid for books at the beginning of the semester, but decided i want to try to save this year. what do you do when amazon does not display the latest edition of a casebook? i see all of the supplements keyed to the latest edition, and i can find the book on other websites, but not the actual casebook. obvious answer is to order from the other websites but i would prefer to order from amazon with the free two-day shipping.

any advice would be appreciated. thanks

I'd search by the ISBN number, rather than the casebook name. That way if it doesn't come up you know they don't have it on Amazon at all.

I know you'd prefer to use Amazon, but if they don't have it, try Half.com.

It wasn't for a couple of my books. One was $140 used on Amazon and $35 used on lawbooksforless

It's free shipping if you have Amazon Prime for the student. Look into and enroll.

Only orders fulfilled by Amazon qualify for Prime. Most of the lower-priced used ones are not fulfilled by Amazon. But expedited shipping is only $5 from most vendors.
