My civ pro teacher referenced Gob's chicken dance from Arrested Development during class one day. She even started to do the "cuka cuka" and clap a little.

I can one-up both of you. My K's prof (in his thick Dutch accent) made reference to Amelia Bedelia in class last week.

Re: Taylor v. Sturgell, Civ Pro prof talked about the grand tradition of restoring World War 2 planes to fly at airshows and crash them into crowds of children. Said it's a favored pastime whenever NASCAR isn't in town.

I hate citation exercises more than anything. Except perhaps legal research. What a waste of my life.

Yup and hour and a half for 5 exercises, 3 of which I got wrong. 2 of which I can't figure out why they are wrong.

Our ICW's are ungraded. I just make a half-ass effort while I watch TV. I usually end up getting 90% wrong.

Over 50% wrong and we have to meet with our TA.

Ours are like 10% of our grade. She says it's ok if we get like one wrong, but, I've been way worse than that.

It's actually even worse when it's ungraded simply because the give-a-shit factor is so incredibly low.

Yep. I tried for the first 2 ICW assignments, but now I don't really care. For our last assignment, I was shocked that I got 2 correct out of 10.

Urgh, so I feel like I'm floundering. :( I've been playing catch-up with some of the reading, and it hasn't given me anytime to step back and analyze the bigger picture in my classes (so no outline yet...). I keep getting the feeling that I'm missing some super important points, or that I'm not absorbing stuff correctly (even though I feel like I understand everything in class), and it's really worrying me.

Aight, legal writing is officially a bitch. It's like, there are a bunch of different ways to synthesize these cases, and they all take forever to figure out. So you could be synthesizing them in one way for a long time, only to realize there is another way to do it that is probably better.

Fuck.

My stupid Torts class - since the beginning of the year, we have covered intent, battery, assault, and have spent a week or so, so far, on defenses.

Glacially paced.
