No experience with them directly, but I imagine it's hard to go wrong if you did decently on the MBE the first time around. What about just doing a barbri ipod course? (since money is no object)

I scored in the 159 to 162 range the last time around (wish I could transfer that over!). As far as the Ipod course.. I really like books. And my boss is taking RI too and I know he would also prefer the books.

They give you books too. I thought the Conviser Mini review book was pretty excellent.

That said, we will see what happens tomorrow (or whenever they get around to releasing results). I could be cursing the day I picked Barbri.

Texas results just went up.

Now it's official... everyone I know who took the bar and has results have passed. I don't know if that should make me confident or afraid there will be nobody to commiserate with.

Question for you: Seperac says the subject line for the fail email is "NY Bar Examination Results". What was the subject line for the pass email?

I passed in 08'. There was no e-mail. Just an awful system where everyone logged in to the website to individually check their results. The system went online at 9am and crashed several times througout the day. I wound up not getting my results till about 2pm... At which time 4 partners and I left the office and proceeded directly to the steak house.

Wow. I guess the email is probably the lesser of the evils.

Awesome Man!!! Congrats... Now get your C&F Papers in right now...

If you're applying to the 2nd Dept, it can take forever. Celebrate today and do paperwork this weekend!

Third Department works fast. Shouldn't be bad at all. If you submit next week, you may even be admitted before the year is out.

Enjoy the admissions ceremony... Its much cooler than graduation.

I guess as an LL.M. the stakes aren't as high. Still, I just started an NY Biglaw job which would have been on the line, too. You cant deny some of the Barbri lecturers were quite entertaining at least.
