2L/3L class selection and 1L favorites?

Post by PSLaplace » Sat Jan 02, 2010 3:41 am

Does enjoyment or success in a particular 1L course suggest aptitude at certain upper-level courses? Which ones? For example, I speculate (as a 1L) that success in Contracts correlates with success in Commercial Law; and success in Civil Procedure correlates with success in Tax Law (both involve parsing code-based law).

Any more experienced students want to offer their findings/opinions?

For my section, those who excel in torts would probably do just as well spending tuition money on lottery tickets. Does this help?
