As much as I want my grades, I often wonder if I'll look back and think, "yeah, you were better off when you didn't know."

Sorry things didn't go your way in that class. :(

Yeah... I got a B+ in Contracts yesterday....not sure how to feel, but I admit I was super excited because it was the class I had feared the most. No idea how the grade stands up to the rest of my class though. A B+ in LS isn't that bad right?

Pretty sure B+ is at least median almost everywhere.

I'm cool with being at the median for Contracts. Haha.

I believe most schools outside of the t1 use a lot lower median, at least generally. My school is curved to like a 2.7.

GULC's new curve.

A 12%
A- 19%
B+ 28%
B 31% - 36%
B- 5% - 10%

Seems ridiculously lax to me.

Class rank is all that matters anyway.

Not sure about 1L grades. Some of the upper year grades have been trickling out for awhile, now; though mainly just for seminars.

The grade I got isn't that bad, just have developed a certain set of expectations when I open up my grades, at this point. Still require booze, though I'll probably be alright without the time machine.

By the way, if you're going to be at wine mess tomorrow, give me a shout--I'll probably be around working on this eeeeviiil Easterbrook seminar and CJIL article, and will need a shot break.

When is the actual deadline for NU?

I'm starting to have flashbacks. Seriously, some of the stuff I did on graded work was really, really dumb.

I've been having this problem too. I went back and read my tests shortly after each exam, and I felt really good about them at the time, but as time goes by i've picked up more and more issues that i clearly missed / wrongly analyzed.

pretty depressing.

+1. Especially in Ks - my analysis was all over the place. FML.

Yeah, but is anyone else kinda just chill about their 1L first semester grades? I mean... we can improve off them, and I don't know about anyone else, but I felt a little like a fish out of water my first semester. Only room to go down if you start off amazing.

Plus, it seems like firms aren't granting employment as early as they used to....maybe this might reduce the need for super strong 1L grades, as more of us (lets face it) will be looking for employment past graduation with all grades from all three years in.

Yeah...my school doesn't curve (UB), but I think the median is about 3.0... most people firmly fit into the 'B-' - 'B+' camp. Lol. We will see though. I can imagine getting back to school and everyone is talking about their A- and A grades. :)

No problem. I'll def. be there.

I highly recommend Bar Review tonight, too. I want to go very badly myself but I'm locked out of the apt. at present and don't want to go with all my books and my laptop on me. Screw me and my continuous losing of the keys.

I just got another grade. I now have two out of four. I'm not allowed to say what it is though.

Assuming your classmates don't know your real life identity, I can't imagine why you couldn't share.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
