Although I did not apply, I am flattered to have received a free ride at Drexel Law School (Earle Mack School of Law). I looked up Drexel in the TLS law school section, but I could not locate any information on the school.
According to Wikipedia the law school started in 2006, and has ABA provisional authorization. They are located in Philadelphia and their campus sits next to Penn.
Out of curiosity, does anyone from TLS attend Drexel or know more about the school?

I had a full ride too and decided to attend Villanova. From what I've heard, both from employers and students, Drexel is not doing as well as Temple, Villanova or Rutgers-Camden in Philadelphia/Wilmington. Also, their co-op program rarely (read: never) turns into full time job offers. I've even heard of attorneys saying in interviews that Drexel was an unwise and risky choice in relation to other Philadelphia schools.Kendi wrote:Although I did not apply, I am flattered to have received a free ride at Drexel Law School (Earle Mack School of Law). The undergrad is fantastic, but the law school's going to need a decade or two to start making an impact. Think of it this way, OCI is done by alumni who work at the firm. Drexel has no alumni, firms make pit stops there for OCI but have 0 ties to the school.

Thanks for the update. Back in January and February free ride offers and daily emails from various schools were commonplace, but to receive an offer less than 60 days before classes begin came as a surprise. I figured by now everyone was locked. Guess not. Later!

Re: Drexel 2014
I mean, I was there in 2010 looking at the school and someone asked bluntly and they said nobody had received offers from their co-op. Has this changed, and do you have specific evidence?phillylawyer2 wrote:This is simply untrue.beach_terror wrote: Also, their co-op program rarely (read: never) turns into full time job offers.
