Seattle University Class of 2014
Didn't see a thread for SU '14 yet so I thought I'd make one. Anyone moving from out of state? I'm coming up from California and will be starting with the summer criminal law class.

Seriously thinking about it. What made you decide for sure on Seattle?

Negative on that one. LS is on the Seattle U campus in Capital Hill.dr123 wrote:Im not applying till next cycle, but Is Seattle U's LS on Broadway or the U district? I know the undergrad campus is on Broadway but someone told me the LS is on the ave

I have cousins living about a fifteen minute commute from campus whom I can live with, practically for free. I really like the area and want to practice up there too, so it's a good fit. And their highly ranked legal writing program is a big plus.Hopeful_Me wrote:Seriously thinking about it. What made you decide for sure on Seattle?

Just put my seat deposit in the mail earlier this afternoon. So now it's official-official.

I'll be at SU starting in the summer! I'm looking forward to easing into things with one summer class, and then only 2 in the fall. I've heard mix results that it doesn't provide an advantage, but I don't see how it can hurt things by having fewer classes for the first two semesters. I've been working full time for the past 3 years, so I can't wait to get back into the classroom.

I was just WL at UC Hastings, so it looks like I'll be putting down a seat deposit here by the end of the week.

Supposedly we will receive all our registration information after admitted students day on May 16th. There are going to be two evening crim law courses offered and one during the day. I don't know if it is by invite only, but search Facebook for the Seattle University Law Class of 2014 group. There is a ton of information there, and current law students have been great with answering questions.jennyc23 wrote:I am also starting this summer!
