I was a little bummed about the dirth of Human Rights classes (my field of interest), but I thought about it another way. Even if I go into HR, I will still need to be an awsome all around attorney. I felt that Wake would make not just a good HR lawyer, but an excellent attorney period, no matter what law I wanted to go into.timduncanformvp wrote: I love all the awesomeness going on ITT. I am super excited to meet you all. While I am still a little bummed about the course offerings at Wake compared to the school I turned down, in my field of interest, I think you guys make up for it

I agree. I was told 'you have your whole career to specialize'. I think Wake gives the best overall outcome for career prospects--as opposed to my other choice.YankeesFan wrote:I was a little bummed about the dirth of Human Rights classes (my field of interest), but I thought about it another way. +1... Yeah apparently Bin Laden loved to do a 3-mile run and 200 crunches every morning... guess that didn't work out so well for him either.MattThiessen wrote:You know who else liked exercise? Hitler.

I have thought about doing family law or torts.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Grr. I hate when I ignore this thread for a day and TLS stops sending the emails. I've missed out on 2 freakin' pages!
Just talked to Jenny about the second deposit. Definitely forgot that was coming up. Also, she said keep an eye on your mailbox this week, there's schwag on the way.
In the other thread I was asking about orientation on the weekend before - Jenny said nothing's going on Sat/Sun. This is GREAT NEWS! We have a PGA tour event in Greensboro that weekend!
And, just my catchup - Yes HH, no llamas, no exercise, and corporate transactions.

Steely, way to jump right back into the game. I have been sitting in front of my mailbox waiting for my magical schwag to appear. I cannot wait to represent WF. I will convert the heathens! Also, I have a twitter, does that make me a bad person? Also, I too forgot about the deposit. Ooops.
