Hey guys, so Judge Philip Banks (and possibly tlc) and I are having a get together at Bj's restaurant and brewery in Downey, CA this Wednesday, May 4 @6:30 pm. It is about 15 miles away from Loyola. Consider this an open invitation. PM JPB or myself if you'd like to join us. Looking forward to meeting some future classmates

Nope. First exam was on the 28th of April; Exam period ends on May 11th (Torts).

Hey everybody, sent in my first seat deposit a couple weeks ago, although I'm STILL waiting for my SC response in the mail, got my DF on status checker 5/3. I think my chances of that are slim to none though, so I'll probably be seeing you guys in August. Also I'm from Long Island making the big drive out probably end of July. Since my friends out in LA are all crazy artists and film kids and living in ridiculous studios turned film sets, I'm going to be looking for housing soon, hopefully with some other loyola people.

And yes, I think we're about ready for a facebook group. Looking forward to meeting everyone, I'm beyond excited for this.

Did anyone else get the email for the LLS-UCLA Meet and Greet at Dean Gold's residence? Is anyone planning on going? And can anyone explain why this is a joint LLS-UCLA event at the LLS Dean's residence, with LLS alumni, faculty, and current students...?

I definitely did not get that email. Sounds bizarre.

Well I was surprised that you didn't get it, because that meant not everyone did. So I went back and read the email, and it appears that it is for admitted students that went to UCLA or LMU undergrad... Kinda bizarre event, and I guess that explains why not everyone got the email...

A classmate of mine AND one of our professors bike to school. One of them (the prof) bikes 10 miles.
