This, of course.

Surely there's a corresponding biglaw spa retreat for the non-proles in the class?

For those that don't feel like looking and want the link: http://www.law.uchicago.edu/ClassOf2014SeptemberLetter

I picked the high school one and two other clerical ones.

HATER.

One of mine was the pets. I've already forgotten the other ones I want to do  oh well I'll remember before the deadline...

And I think I'm going to do the professionalism thing? It sounds okay?

I would really like to give a presentation to inner city youths on how to best work around the estate tax.

I never got the September letter; thanks for linking to it.

I listed the high school one and the playground preparation one as my top choices.

Is everyone attending the "Professionalism & Leadership Day"? I'm thinking about signing up for it, which would be a big commitment since I'd need to find clean business casual clothing.

I think a tactleneck would be appropriate :D

Just a quick note on Student IDs and access to Ratner gym:

I just picked up my ID and headed over to check it out, and the woman at the front desk told me that our (law students') memberships aren't active until the 17th. If we want to purchase memberships until then, it's about $30.

/sadpanda

On the upside, excited for orientation!

I didn't invent the turtleneck, but I was the first person to realize its potential as a tactical garment.

I only clicked the high school one. We'll see how that goes.

DON’T worry about your Bigelow section assignment.

Too late.

And business casual for orientation? :(

Aww where does it say anything about business casual? Lame.

Also, there is NO WAY I am wearing business casual the normal orientation days. I'll be looking out for one of you gentlemen in a full suit, however

The events seem a little strange, but I guess I probably won't have anything better to do that day before the dinner. There's probably not a whole lot to lose by going besides a few hours of my time.

It says business casual or casual, which I'm going to interpret as "wear jeans".

If it has to do with Myers-Briggs, I like it.

I think that's only for the thursday professionalism stuff, with business for the tuesday entering students dinner. Otherwise I'm going casual as FUCK.

I like that it gives you priority for future events, so I'll probably do it.
