Do we get to pick our own?

Some of us have already called dibs.

Xifeng wrote:Alright let's make sure we figure this out in advance:

Knock: gunner@uchicago.edu
hiddenfist: XxX_gunner_XxX@uchicacgo.edu
Xifeng: sexxxygunner@uchicago.edu
Munich: mr.alphamoose@uchicago.edu
Any others?

(and yeah we get 'em in June when they email us our first monthly 'letter' telling us how to do stuff!)

The surest way to get me to lose all interest in applying for something is to require an autobiographical portion.

I get my CNET ID today! You should all feel the appropriate level of jealousy here. :D

Also I CAN'T DECIDE WHAT TO PICK. Free choice? The power is too great!

I went with Student Space before ASW - they were alright, but only have deals with like 4 buildings in Hyde Park - Regents, Mayfair, Flamingo, and Dorchester. And maybe Scholars Corner.

Thought Mayfair and Regents were nice, but the others were eh.

The MAC people at Algonquin will also show you other apartment buildings they own in Hyde Park. You can tell them what's most important to you (e.g. size, nicer finishings, location) and they'll show you buildings that they think fit your preferences. That said, the ones they showed me were kind of terrible. :?

For those of you who have seen it, how big are the pics in the glass menagerie? I'm traveling all summer and only have access to one super unflattering, but acceptable picture.

As for new pics, I don't think firms at OCI are going to appreciate a picture of sweaty me hiking...although I do look pretty sexy with a fanny pack and knee socks  .

For your help, I offer this:

Thank you :)

They're very small. It's almost exactly like a high school yearbook. You could probably find one on facebook that would work!

Not sure but it will be in the June letter they send out, I think.

Edit:

Photos for the Glass Menagerie

Please provide a print or a high-quality digital photo, preferably a jpeg. You’ll know the photo quality is good enough if the file size is at least 200 KB. Photos straight from the digital camera work best; photos copied from websites like Facebook or those taken with cell phones generally have low quality and won’t work. When selecting a photo, try to find one that doesn’t show another person’s arm around your shoulders or anything else that may be visible when the photo is cropped to a tight headshot. Also, please keep in mind that this book will be used heavily by your professors and potential employers. Please send your digital image to glassmenagerie@law.uchicago.edu.
