The only character that I really liked was Rory's grandfather Richard. That's exactly who I want to be like.

Edit: Hell yeah. This guy.

It's 9:30 PM and I've written one sentence and am watching Gilmore Girls. Sigh.

GTFOwl. I used to be forced to watch that show all the time.

Can I come to this?? It sounds fun! Are there any Psych, Castle, or Glee fans out there?

Uh definitely! It'll be lots of fun, and we need to make up for lost time since everyone else starts way before us  And I LOVE Psych! And am behind on Glee, but after finals will fix that...

PSYCH!! Love that show :D I don't think anyone would want to watch glee with me though because I DVR it then fast forward through the singing..

Yes! We're going to assemble IKEA furniture and put on fancy knobs. And I love Psych and Glee! (Haven't seen Castle.)

Tiny doggie...big ears...tiny doggie...big ears.

I have a major weakness for large eared dogs. Somewhere in this thread are pictures of my dog, who has the Cardigan Corgi bat ears.

I love Psych, and sometimes love Glee. I haven't seen Castle yet (though I know I need to). Golden Girls rules. I'm a big fan of Bones, 30 Rock, and Community. Also, Animal Planet has a show called Too Cute! Kittens. I really wish we had cable.

I love big eared dogs too! I used to have a miniature schnauzer with huge pointy adorable ears. She was the best... :(

And yay for Psych! None of my friends are into that show so I watch it all alone haha. Also anyone who fast forwards through Glee songs officially can't watch it with me. But I'll still be up for being friends outside of glee watching time!

Wait... I'm confused. People FF through the songs on Glee? Why even watch it? I watch it for the songs.

Edit: missed this

TBF, the songs are generally VERY hit or miss. Some of them can be very boring or bad. The only thing worse than some of those songs however is the generally awful dialogue whenever it gets down to srs bsns. There can be some good banter, but sometimes I just want to print off an episode script, rewrite the entire thing, and send it in with a post-it "FTFY".

haha I used to watch the singing in most of the first season. I got real tired of the themed episodes and that's when I started fast-forwarding. I kind of watch it out of habit now, but I'm pretty into the story. I think it's getting better, though, since the last few episodes I've been able to watch more of the singing.

Also the songs are sooo long sometimes. Way too long.

 We are like TV twins. If you're also into House, 30 Rock, and *insert any Food Channel show here*, I think weekly TV viewing parties are in order.

YES someone is with me here. That's why I started too and now I only watch it when there is a cool song. The real reason I watch it is Jane Lynch, she's hilarious. We can watch it during our IKEA party, duh! I won't force you guys to fast forward or something  I'm nice!

I used to love House and then I got really behind but I'd be happy to catch up over the summer and watch it. And I LOVE food/cooking/baking so any kind of food show is definitely my cup of tea. If 2/3 is enough, then I would adore weekly TV viewing parties :D

Also, is there a way for people to identify who the TLS's are on Facebook? Like maybe a separate TLS Chicago Facebook group? I want to be immersed in Chicago TLS amazingness!

Hopefully that isn't too creepy...

Hmm this might be a good idea if there is enough interest out there. I can't do it from work (corporate fb block), but if someone wanted to make a facebook group outside of the official one, they could then PM the link to people who wanted to join and chat about other stuff a little more privately. It's up to y'all.

I can lead the group and make it a private one and just PM the link to people who tell me they are interested. But I also don't want this to be a controversial thing. It's definitely not necessary to do.. I just thought it would be nice for us to know each other in person too since we will all be classmates.

Let me know if you would prefer for me not to make the group and I won't. But if not, I will make one tomorrow :D
