Exactly. They aren't as stylish AND you have to pull them on and off if you're too hot/cold.

But pullovers are so classic. And its so comfy to not have the hard cold scratchy metally zipper!

I would buy a zip one if that was all that there was though...

Probably my least favorite design yet. But I wanted to give people a white option.

That would work for me. I'm with coolgreen and xifeng in that I hate the cold, scratchy zipper.

Not to derail the t-shirt/sweatshirt making extravaganza, but I spoke with a leasing agent at Regents this morning and she gave me some info that I thought might be helpful to you all:

- In addition to the monthly rent the additional costs will be:
Electric: approx. $20-$30 1 bed and $40-$60 2 bed
Heat/AC: $30-$70 per apartment
Parking: $160 per vehicle
Cable: packages start at $53.00(16 basic channels included with no charge)

- proof of renters insurance is a required before the move in date. "This policy must cover minimum limits of $50,000.00 Liability, $10,000.00 Personal and $1,000.00 Medical. Approximate cost: $140-$190 annually depending on provider."

- the activation of the complimentary 3 month health club membership per person in the apartment needs to begin no later than November 1, 2011 or the offer will become void.

- move in date for incoming law students is September 10th. Leases run from August 31st to August 31st and they need time to inspect/clean the rooms before the new tenants move in. "Move In Date: can be anytime but if there is flexibility we ask that your move date be no earlier than 9/10/2010 as all the law school zoned apartment leases end on 8/31/2010 and we will need time to inspect and prep the apartment for your arrival."

- "All apartments for the law pricing are zoned in the North Tower on the 10th – 25th floors except for those with dogs. Dog apartments are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors in the South Tower depending on availability, which is very limited."

- Also, "all applicants will go on a priority list from the date the application is received. Current students give their notice to vacate usually end July to early August. At that time we will begin going through the priority list from the first applicant who applied to offer units requested. The offered units could come earlier but the timeframe is usually end of July to early August. You will be guaranteed and apartment but depending on where your application date falls on the list and available inventory we can’t always guarantee a specific floor plan or elevation but we can guarantee and apartment for the upcoming academic year." (She also mentioned they were receiving applications from law students at a rate of ~35 per day!)

- for the application, they need a copy (email or fax) of your acceptance letter to the law school and residential verification from your residence prior to relocating to Chicago whether it be an actual rental property or with a family member. That verification can come after the application is submitted. For international students, they need a copy of your I20 document when you receive it.

HTH!

 Wouldn't you like to know...

Yes, I (and I feel confident to speak for womankind) wear a shirt under hoodies, but women's shirts tend to have larger neck holes/have the potential to be low cut, and then there is he zipper contact issue. Also, zip hoodies look kind of manly to me in general. The only ones that I have had have been very fitted or fleece... not the kind that get logos.

and coolgreen42, obviously TCR is just to post more :D

Also, Anthropologie needs to stop sending me home decorating emails. I am going to crack!

Yay for maroon shirts! And, ooh - those emails are dangerous. I had to unsubscribe from the email lists of all my fave places to help curb my online shopping habit... I miss you, piperlime!

Pretty much this. I also don't really like the middle pocket in hoodies, since it makes me look like I'm expecting. Sweatshirts for life.

rbarcelo, at this point you may want to talk to Chicago about licensing, since it appears you'll be bringing out an entire line of Chicago apparel.

Alright so I've been making all these designs and going crazy but never once have I looked at the prices. What type of shirt are we looking for? The have the basic cotton "gildan" tees I'm sure everyone has seen or worn before and they have the nice American Apparel tees that are soft and luxurious. The American Apparel tee is $24.64 (if we order 15. It goes down with each additional shirt added.) Also the American Apparel only has the black and grey, no maroon. The Gildan 50/50 tees are $19.86 each and have a 12 piece order minimum. I would rather the nicer American Apparel tees, but I'll leave that to a vote of some sort/see if people are willing to pay $24.64 for a shirt. Of course I can shop around a little more as well. Thoughts, comments, suggestions.

I lol'd.

I'd prefer the softer ones, because the generic ones tend to have super high collars that look weird on girls (or at least I don't like wearing them very much).

As someone who did not grow up with sisters and hasn't really ever thought about it, I am learning a lot about female clothing today.

Knock (and all those interested in the hoodies) the hoodies are in the $40 - $60 range. The higher range includes embroidered rather than screen printed which would be super nice
