Edit: Also, upon looking at some, they are too far south. If I live in HP, it will be Regents most likely. The other places I'm looking at are in like the South Loop. Also, the couple of your links I looked at seem several blocks at least from the UC shuttle lines.

That actually looks pretty decent. I'm not a big fan of studios and i'd like a dishwasher but it's hard to beat that price. Any idea how far of a walk it is from the law school? Around the corner from the Dorchester place we looked at - btwn 57 and 58th. Haven't checked on the bus yet TBH, but I was hoping to bike it. Oh, that was actually directed at Sentry since Lakeview is so much further north. I'm a little ambivalent about the free UPass, so we'll have to see what they decide. Not sure I read in the Chicago discuss your law school thread there is a parking lot 2 blocks from the school which you can park in for somewhere in the ~$70 a month range. From what I have heard, there is street parking available if you get there early in the morning, like 7:30.
