The cost is built into the rent. They aren't absorbing anything.Kili wrote:Thanks for clarifying that.
It seems odd to me that they would absorb the costs of overages, though. I'm going to call tomorrow or Tuesday and ream them with questions. I will report back afterwards.
I too am curious. Thanks for taking the initiative for us.Kili wrote:Thanks for clarifying that.

Yeah I think it looks pretty cool!Kili wrote:That's awesome! And good call on the Username

I'm so bored I'm seriously considering taking some of these floorplans into a program and inserting my furniture pieces to play around with different set ups.... I wish my job would let me start earlier..
For the experts: isn't there a law school discount at Regents? Do yall know what they are?eskimo wrote:--LinkRemoved--Muenchen wrote:Yes, that's definitely a nice set up also. Click on a floorplan and the Regents website lets you do that!
These are what they were for last year...I think that's all we know.arism87 wrote:For the experts: isn't there a law school discount at Regents? Thanks! I guess studio rates would be normal then? NO STUDIO FOR ME.eskimo wrote:http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 3#p3886583arism87 wrote:For the experts: isn't there a law school discount at Regents? Do yall know what they are?
It's in that post!
Have you found something with more affordable studios/1BRs?eskimo wrote:Yeah I think so. I'd have to do a 2BR in Regents.
Haha anything less than Regents is SOMEWHAT more affordable I guess. Although I don't think I'd mind paying that. I can't wait to get out of my piece of shit apartment! It reeks of gas and I can see my breath in the bathroom it's so cold. Awesome.eskimo wrote:I don't know what "more affordable" means? Windermere has studios for $900-$1000?

I haven't looked that much.
Thanks! That's TOTALLY doableMuenchen wrote:Flamingo says that they have studios starting at $671. The kind of cool thing about Flamingo is that they are technically studios, but they have a small connecting room which is where a bed can go that's different from the living room. When first looking at the floorplan I couldn't tell what it was for, but the virtual tour and photos show it well and it seems like a cool idea. --ImageRemoved--

I have generally not considered any university housing but I just realized they actually allow pets... I'll have to consider this!sojuteacher wrote:Muenchen wrote:Flamingo says that they have studios starting at $671. This looks like a great setup and price. Still not sure what to do.
Anyone still considering the new grad? I haven't lived in a dorm for a long time -- but at this point, seeing as I won't get a chance to visit before school start, and wanting to live really close to campus (I spent my undergrad in the library), I'm considering it. Plus, tracking down and buying furniture would be a pain and additional cost of living in an apt.
Algonquin is cat and dog friendly! (according to the website)arism87 wrote:I have generally not considered any university housing but I just realized they actually allow pets...
